The Boise Traditional Chinese Dance Group was started in 2004 as a cultural enrichment after-school program for the Boise Modern Chinese School. Over the years, the program has grown from one dance class to four dance classes and a performance group including both adult and children dancers, while still under the Boise Modern Chinese School. Global Lounge invites artists to apply for the opportunity to design and paint a mural at the site of the organization’s headquarters located in Boise, ID. Nine potential locations have been identified. Global Lounge may choose to identify up to 9 artists or artist teams for the opportunity. The murals should be inspired by Global Lounge’s vision.
