Our Mission

Global  Lounge  is  committed  to  thoughtful  cultural preservation, education, integration and the promotion of cultural awareness by harnessing the power and beauty of diversity for individual and community development.

Our History

Longstanding Partnership with Treasure Valley YMCA

Host interactive discussions, drumming, and dance lessons in local schools

Work to create venues that bring communities together, showcasing cultural traditions, experiences, and values.

Boise Schools

“One of the best aspects of the Global Lounge experience was seeing unexpected alliances made. The drum circle brought together students from diverse backgrounds, socio‐economic and cliques…

It was truly amazing to see how easily students connected to others outside of their usual group when they had the chance to drum together…”

Boise City Department of Arts and History

“This organization has increased awareness of Boise’s many different cultural groups and their contributions to our overall community. They strive “to connect people across generations and cultures” – a noble and ambitious goal and one in which I believe they have had much success. They are an altruistic group and genuine in their endeavors. They have persevered through tough economic times and have shown their tenacity and adaptability in initiating new programs and projects.”
